Position Summary: The Floor Tech position is Full Time. The hours are based on the needs of the facility and will require some weekends and Holidays. The position exists to provide routine support in the environmental services of residents, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, well organized and safe manner.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Stripping, waxing & maintaining floors. May also include light housekeeping duties. Following a daily cleaning schedule is required.
Qualifications: Experience Required.
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the work day.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Prior experience is required, preferably in a nursing home environment.
